Why was the liquidation ordered?
The text published in the Gazzetta omits the preamble of the decree: it does not state the causes of the liquidation, any financial statement data, or the sector in which the cooperative operates. To find these you need the company register extract (visura camerale) or the full text from the provincial office.
Who is affected?
Customers, suppliers, principals and professionals who have dealt with the cooperative, as well as creditors in general. The act does not list individual dealings: check whether the cooperative's tax code appears in your own customer and supplier records.
What to do if you deal with the cooperative
- Search for tax code 02790240218 among customers, suppliers and principals, including invoices not yet collected.
- If you are a creditor, follow the communications from the liquidator, who now manages the procedure, and ask your adviser how and when to assert your claim.
- Do not continue supplies or works for the cooperative without first consulting the liquidator.
- Re-check the other cooperatives among your counterparties: an insolvency procedure appears in the Registro Imprese (Business Register) and in the Gazzetta before any press report.
To find out whether a customer or supplier has protests or open insolvency proceedings, the protests and insolvency proceedings check (5.90€) gives you the source and date. If you need to decide on a credit line or an important contract, the full report (from 19€) adds the beneficial owner, estimated operating credit line and balance-sheet signals.
