Orchidea building cooperative of Angri dissolved: MIMIT decree

In brief: by decree of 21 October 2026, published in the Official Gazette of 29 October, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) dissolved by order of authority the «Cooperativa edilizia Orchidea», based in Angri (Salerno), and appointed a liquidator commissioner. From now on the cooperative is in liquidation, and relations with creditors and suppliers go through the commissioner.
What happened?
Article 1 of the decree declares dissolved by order of authority, pursuant to article 2545-septiesdecies of the Civil Code, the «Cooperativa edilizia Orchidea», with registered office at via Satriano 47/10, Angri (SA), tax code 01094570650. Article 2 appoints the liquidator commissioner; article 3 sets the commissioner's remuneration according to the ministerial decree of 3 November 2016.

The decree states that the requirements of the first paragraph of article 2545-septiesdecies are met, but does not specify which. It does not report balance-sheet data nor refer to insolvency: unlike compulsory administrative liquidation (liquidazione coatta amministrativa), here the Ministry dissolves the entity on the basis of the supervisory findings. An appeal against the decree is admissible before the TAR or as an extraordinary appeal to the President of the Republic, within the statutory time limits.
Who is affected?
Construction firms, plant installers, material suppliers, professionals and anyone with contracts, open invoices or ongoing works with the cooperative. The decree does not list existing relationships: check your master data to see whether the cooperative's tax code appears among customers, clients or suppliers.
What to do if you have dealings with the cooperative
- Search for tax code 01094570650 among customers, clients and suppliers, including unpaid invoices and accepted quotes.
- If you are a creditor, refer to the liquidator commissioner appointed by the decree, who from now on handles the liquidation, and ask your advisor how to enforce the claim.
- Do not start new works or supplies for the cooperative without first consulting the commissioner.
