How much a single Cerved report costs, and what it includes
Updated to
In brief: a Cerved report on an Italian company can also be bought individually, without a subscription, on the Cerved Credit Direct portal. The public price list shows three reports for companies: Basic Note at 40€, Entry Report at 65€, Standard Report at 95€, all VAT excluded and with monitoring included in the price. With VAT at 22% they become about 48.80€, 79.30€ and 115.90€. The price list is dated May 2018 and is the latest published by Cerved: check the price at the time of purchase.
The Cerved Credit Direct price list
Credit Direct is the portal through which Cerved sells information on companies and individuals online, on a single-purchase basis. The official price list in PDF, still published on the cerved-online.com website and consulted on 19 October 2026, shows for Italian companies:
- Basic Note: 40€ VAT excluded (about 48.80€ VAT included).
- Entry Report: 65€ VAT excluded (about 79.30€ VAT included).
- Standard Report: 95€ VAT excluded (about 115.90€ VAT included).
The prices with VAT are an arithmetic conversion at 22%, not a figure from the price list. Three notes in the document matter before you buy:
- Monitoring is included in all three reports: for the following 12 months Cerved reports, among other things, reviews of reliability, changes in negative events, a new financial statement and changes in the main shareholders.
- If you buy more than one report on the same company within 24 hours, you pay only for the highest-tier one.
- The fees include the clerk's and tax fees (diritti di segreteria ed erariali) where applicable. The price list also shows a "Ricerca anagrafica" (registry search) item at 1.30€, without clarifying whether it is added to the price of the report: check it in the cart.
The price list is identified as "Rev. 1 – May 2018". We did not find a more recent version published by Cerved, but a price list eight years old may not match what you pay today: the price that counts is the one shown on the platform at the time of purchase.
What each Cerved report includes
According to the descriptions Cerved publishes on its Credit Direct page dedicated to companies:
- Basic Note: the official data of the company and a summary reliability score. Cerved indicates it for small businesses and for low-risk transactions.
- Entry Report: a summary with a reliability score, an assessment of "Certified Credit Line" (Fido Certificato, the name Cerved gives to its exposure limit) and a check for possible namesakes.
- Standard Report: the most complete of the three, with the Cerved Group Score, the Certified Credit Line, analysis of prejudicial entries and negative events, and the history of requests made on the company in the last 12 months. The published specimen also includes the section on Payline payment experiences, the database in which member companies share how they pay their customers.
In the specimen forms published on the website, all three reports have sections on protests, insolvency proceedings and prejudicial entries from the land registry, as well as officers, shareholders and financial statement data. So, unlike the Veryfy basic tier, a Cerved report on a company can also show the land registry's prejudicial entries.
What the price list does not say, and why it matters
Two points cannot be obtained from public sources, and it is worth knowing this before you pay:
- The beneficial owner: neither the descriptions of the reports nor the published specimen forms mention the beneficial owner, that is, the person who really controls the company. This is not a verified "no": it is a piece of data that public sources do not report. If you specifically need it, ask Cerved before purchase.
- How complete the prejudicial entries are: in the note to the specimen form, Cerved explains that it collects the main land registry events through a national circuit for banking, financial and tax-collection creditors and a network of correspondents for the others. It also warns that cancellation annotations and older events may be missing, and for certainty suggests a property search (visura ipotecaria). The data is useful, but it does not replace a mortgage inspection (see prejudicial entries at the land registry and mortgage search).
Cerved report or Veryfy: the honest comparison
Veryfy prices include VAT and there is no subscription:
- Verifica, 19€: complete check of the company, beneficial owner, shareholders and directors, estimated operating credit line, protests and insolvency signals, comparison with companies in the sector.
- Decisione, 49€: everything in Verifica, plus properties registered in the company's name, corporate relationships and the reclassified financial statement.
- Istruttoria, 99€: everything in Decisione, plus the application of risk algorithms developed by experienced risk managers.
If you need only one data point, there are also the micro-products: protests and insolvency proceedings at 5.90€, beneficial owner at 9.90€, rating and estimated operating credit line at 9.90€.
Where Veryfy wins: the entry price (19€ VAT included against about 48.80€ for the Basic Note and about 79.30€ for the Entry Report, VAT included) and the beneficial owner, declared and included already in the basic tier. Veryfy's credit line remains an estimate based on public data, not a guarantee that the company will pay.
Where Cerved wins: the prejudicial entries from the land registry on the company (Veryfy, for companies, shows protests and insolvency proceedings but not prejudicial entries), the Payline payment experiences in the Standard Report, which are a proprietary database, and 12 months of monitoring already included in the price. On Veryfy, continuous monitoring is a separate service, the Sentinella.

Which to choose, based on what you need to decide
- You need to invoice or grant payment terms to a new customer: you need protests, proceedings, an idea of how much you are exposing yourself, and who stands behind the company. The Verifica tier at 19€ covers these points.
- You want to know who really controls the company (a shareholder, a partner, an exclusive distributor): the beneficial owner counts, and Veryfy includes and declares it. See also how to see the beneficial owner of an SRL.
- You need to know whether there are judicial mortgages or seizures on the company's properties: you need a report that shows the land registry's prejudicial entries, such as the Cerved ones, or directly a mortgage inspection. Before that, the Decisione tier (49€) tells you which properties are registered to the company.
- You follow the same company for a year: the monitoring included in the Cerved reports is a real advantage. Compare it with the cost of one report plus the Sentinella.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Cerved report on a company cost?
On the public price list of Cerved Credit Direct (Rev. 1, May 2018, the latest published), company reports cost 40€ (Basic Note), 65€ (Entry Report) and 95€ (Standard Report), VAT excluded. With VAT at 22% they become about 48.80€, 79.30€ and 115.90€. The price that counts is the one shown on the platform at the time of purchase.
Can you buy a Cerved report without a subscription?
Yes: Credit Direct sells single reports online. The price list indicates that 12-month monitoring is included in the price, and that anyone who buys more than one report on the same company within 24 hours pays only for the highest-tier one.
Does the Cerved report include the beneficial owner?
The public descriptions of the reports and the specimen forms published by Cerved do not mention it. This is not a verified no, but a piece of data that public sources do not report: if you need it, ask Cerved before buying. The Veryfy Verifica report at 19€ VAT included does include it.
What is a cheaper alternative to Cerved for a single check?
Veryfy sells reports at a fixed price including VAT, with no subscription: Verifica at 19€, Decisione at 49€, Istruttoria at 99€, and micro-products from 5.90€. Compared with Cerved, it does not show the company's prejudicial entries from the land registry (pregiudizievoli di Conservatoria) nor the Payline payment experiences, but it includes and declares the beneficial owner already in the basic tier.
